01 Common
Basalt is the most common rock, the main rock of the ocean floor, consists of plagioclase and contains relatively little silicon (less than 50%). It is usually dark gray in color, but can be green, brown, or black.
Basalt consists mainly of oxides of silicon, iron, magnesium, potassium, aluminum, titanium, and calcium.
Basalt is grinded by the vertical shaft impactor mill MC-640 for use as an additive in the production of polymers.
