01 Common
Wheat straw is a biodegradable material that has recently become very popular in various types of production.
One of the applications of wheat straw flour is the creation of household products, such as catering utensils, combs, soap dishes, etc. The process of making such items involves creating a homogeneous cellulose mass from ground wheat straw and then pressing it into molds. These products are highly durable, resistant to deformation and temperature changes from -20 to +100 degrees Celsius. The energy consumption of such production is minimal.
Used products are easily decomposed in the soil (composting) without harming the environment.
Wheat straw, which is used to make flour, is essentially a plant waste. The prevalence of this waste in Ukraine is very high and has a minimal purchase price, making it a very attractive raw material for processing.
The vertical shaft impactort mill MC-640 is well suited for grinding wheat straw.

03 Grinding
The input raw materials were ground at different mill settings.
When the mill was set to maximum capacity:
Capacity – 300 kg/h
Sieve analysis:
0-160µm – 58%.
160µm-400µm – 38%
>400µm – 4%.
When the mill is set to maximum grinding:
Capacity – 70 kg/h
Sieve analysis:
0-160µm – 86%.
160µm-400µm – 11%
>400µm – 3%.
